There is just some mystique to owning new things. Whether it be clothes, shoes, bags, I get now why girls are so into shopping. Guys are into shopping as well. Its just that the things we want do not come easily. The things we would like to shop for are cars, electronics, and other non-sensical stuff. Soooo recently, I’ve gotten a boost in personal assets. It feels good spending your own money. Money you worked hard for every day of the week. Money you save and save, and just splurge in a frenzy of spending. Selling this intangible idea is going well. I hope to do even better next year! So maybe its time to thank a few people. Thanks to James and Ms.Cookie. They are awesome! Thanks to Jehz and the rest of the Nyoks. You guys keep me sane or make me insane just pick one and it depends on what mood you guys are. Without further ado, here are my recent purchases.

Blackberry Bold 9000 (gift from someone)

Classic Low-cut chucks. BLACK (another gift)

Xbox 360 (I bought this for myself and spent half a month’s salary for it!)

I love keeping new boxes. I always make sure I keep the box. They look so nice when stacked beside each other!

I needed a back-up pair of sneakers for my everyday sneakers. I love sneakers. They’re both semi-formal and casual. It says, I’m serious and yet fun loving at the same time. I cannot imagine myself never wearing sneakers ever. I love Chucks. The black one is just perfect. I might wear it with black pants and a white short-sleeved polo and a thin tie!

I also desperately needed a new phone. But along with this new phone, came with it push-email. Hello workaholic!

And since Christmas break is fast arriving, in order to remain sane, I bought an xbox360. Sisters bought rockband set and well, the rest will be history!

Chai Latte

Here’s to trying new things! I was cooped up in the office the whole day and was starting to feel the blues. I then decided to try something new. Judd has always raved about Chai Lattes from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Since they recently re-opened (they briefly closed down for a few weeks due to issues with BIR). I wanted to try something new.

I admit I am a coffee addict. I love my Cappucinos. I love my lattes. I usually have my Cappucino with a double shot of espresso as well. I am addicted to coffee and all its perks. Trying out this new drink especially one costing as much as P145 during these financial trying times, was a bit of big stretch for me. I wanted something to break my funk. So off I troop to the newly re-opened TCB&TL to get my daily fix.

Chai Latte

I hesitated to order. But since there was an impatient bitch who kept tapping her foot and I could hear her groaning under her breath, I just gave in and ordered. I said “Chai latte. The Big one.” As for the bitch behind me, all she got was some kind of latte. All that stress and anxiety for a cup of coffee! (Hey bitch stop acting like a druggie please? ktnxbai!) I sat outside with Patty. It was so relaxing. That definitely broke my funk. One of the perks I suppose of working at BHS. The orange glow of sunset cast a sort of orange hue over the scenery. Simply beautiful.
