Sublime Saturday

It’s been a crazy week for me. I’ve been so busy with work and life. My birthday week or rather my birthday itself was made awesome by my crazy friends who came up with the most awesome surprises. I was so excited for Saturday not because it was a Saturday but rather I get to run with BAM. (Yes our little running group has a name.) I didn’t run the [...]

Distracted

So ok I was sitting in the office today thinking of what to post on my blog. Something interesting as well as with enough photos to support whatever post I may have. I’ve always prided my blog on having lots of nice photos! But having no time to actually go out and shoot pretty food and having already posted my photos from Norzagaray I was at a loss. So I [...]

24 on the 24th

A day after everything started to return back to normal, I write my obligatory birthday post. After all the thank you’s have been said, replied, sms’ed, and typed, the belated greetings are now starting to pour in. Just like an earthquake after the initial quake, the aftershock of things that have been are actually reverberating throughout the day, and maybe even the week. This year’s birthday was a bittersweet birthday. [...]

Norzagaray Expedition B&W Set

I tried my hand at some landscaping as well as some B&W workflow as well. Aside from the impending NPA threat at anytime we were also in the search for the Dumagat tribe. We basically stayed at the outlet river of the Ipo Dam where kids were playing. A lot of them jumping of this huge rocks and families cooking rice and fish. Some even bringing pork and beef to [...]

Norzagaray Expedition

It was a beautiful day for an expedition. I had previously signed up for a Century Superbods run, but decided to pass for a photography expedition in Norzagaray, Bulacan. Off I went to Filtrep to meet up with the group. I made sure I had all my gear with me (but as usual I still forgot some! KFC Diffuser you are staying on my bag from now on!) Upon arriving [...]

V-Day

Well its that time of the year again when hearts, lovers, people in a relationship, and generally people with that significant other are all happy with their hearts a flutter and a spring in their step. With butterflies in the little tummys, they rush out plan something special for the day and generally are happy during this time. Alas, this is not the same for me. I missed someone special [...]

Mangyari Lamang

Project:Carlos Week 2

Its been an uneventful week for Project:Carlos. I missed one day of running because I was just too damn tired from work. In terms of work though, I’m happy to report that it is going pretty well. You know what they say, when one door closes, another one opens. (and this time I don’t think a door just opened, an entire flood gate was released!) I thank God and everyone [...]

This Is Me

With the recent outpouring of support for my new goals as well as encouraging me to go find myself again, I was recently struck by good fortune. I have started to enjoy this week more and more not because of anyone but because I feel so productive and actually feel like I am starting to feel accomplished. I have great friends like Jane and Mikey and the Fab 5 who [...]

I Did It!

I’ve finally decided to run in my very first run! I’ve been running for a week now and I can actually run 4.7km in a pretty decent time. (and by decent I mean really really slow!) You see I’ve always been chubby and chunky. Yes I have all the lovin’ body of those in love with food! Being a foodie and all, how can I resist right? But due to [...]
