The Art of Doing Nothing

Let me take a quick breather. I breathe in. I breathe out. I promised myself after my Zen Buddhism class that I would never let life dictate the way I live it. But sadly, I failed even at this. I agree in letting life consume oneself, overwhelm one with sensation and experiences to truly live it to the fullest and yet there is a very thin line between this and [...]

Playing with B&W

After some fiddling with my camera and getting the hang of using a micro 4/3 system, I’ve produced some shots which apparently I really appreciate. Bucket for the shells of peeled peanuts. The dark shades and the shadows are perfectly exposed to my liking.

My Ladies

I’ve already begun collecting my ladies and whoever said that a man can only have 1 mistress is wrong. Currently I’ve got 5 and looking to add to my collection. Why? I don’t know also. I am in love with how these cameras look, feel, sound like, and everything else in between. What in my arsenal? Look! My Trusty D70s w/ 60mm AFD 2.8 lens. Yes this is my work [...]

Another Music Installment

Ok so since the last song was a toast to the douchebags, which I totally love, this time around another song weirdly featured on glee is Fuck You by Cee Lo Green. Awesome beat, awesome rythme, and just awesome lyrics.

EP-1 lovin

Without even 24hours passing by I’ve already declared my love for the EP-1. Its exactly what I’ve wanted in a long long time. Compact enough so as not to encumber me when I walk around. I’ve been experimenting [...]

Its Finally Here

After days, nay I say, weeks of waiting, debating, and thinking, I finally have it in my hands. The coveted EP-1. Why did I settle on the EP-1? Throwing all specs aside (basically they both will have their pros and cons), as well as ergonomics and advantages, I basically boiled it down to the numbers. I had the opportunity of owning an EP-1 for only 25k as compared to GF1 [...]

Panda

I used to be someone’s panda. That nickname came about watching Kung Fu Panda and a rather humiliating reference to my huge arms but hey she thought it was adorable back then. Then Yogajane’s daughter gave me a piece of chocolate from China! It was awesome. I remembered all the time we used to collect Panda shiznit. I wonder what she did with them? I would have shared them with [...]
