WordCampPH

I finally decided to attend this WordCamp held at AIM last Saturday. I was super late, good thing I didn’t really miss any of the good stuff! I got some nice stats as well as informative lectures. I actually enjoyed the whole experience.

Lately I’ve been debating whether or not I should migrate to WordPress as well as buy my own domain name and host my own page. (I don’t know if sulit!) Attending this event I’ve finally made up my mind. Sometime before I leave for Singapore or KL next month I will be migrating to a new home! (So is foodiemanila!) Trying to get the help of Judd and Jehzlau (one of our bloggers) to assist me in moving. Certainly this is a big step. I’ll be taking blogging seriously from now on.

I was also inclined to try the vlogging. (Video Blogging; entries are made using a video) Vcoyski gave an engaging talk about vlogging and keeping a vlog. Debunking myths and other misconceptions.

Judd caught documenting the event for his blog at http://juddstamaria.com

We then decided to hit Pho Hoa for dinner. Now this was quite an adventure for my tastebuds. Simply put, Patty really wanted it and well everyone was ok with it so we ate at Pho Hoa. I was just wondering why it seemed like eating Rabbit’s food. But the soup was ok. Quite different. Distinct taste. Anyways it was an adventure.

Getting back to my car, it wouldn’t start going home. (Battery problems) I had to ask some guys push my car and me jump start it. It was a long day.
