Walking to Laoag
Due to my food blogging located on my OTHER BLOG, I am going to Laoag for the annual chef’s on parade parade. It should make for one hell of a few days. It will be a 4 day event with food tours, judging of contests and what not.
Being the techy that I am, I am bringing along almost my entire arsenal. (Yes I am leaving my 5 year old desktop at home this time.)
The actual bag for my clothes is lighter than the bag for my camera gear.
Here’s a quick run down of what I’m bringing.
- 2 Laptops (Compaq & Macbook)
- Nikon D70s
- 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5
- 50mm 1.8
- 18-200mm
- 105mm f/4
- 2 sb-600
- a couple of batches of batteries
- a tripod
- my really old old OLD cellphone (some people said it was still black and white. Sabi ko may color naman! Donations to get me a Nokia E71 will be accepted soon via Paypal.)
Hopefully, I do justice to the event. I’m quite excited as this is my first commissioned blogging coverage of an event. I have the likes of Chef Heny Sison to tag along with.
So in the meantime chillax muna.
I am still planning to update this blog daily as my new goal for this year is my 365 day project of at least one blog entry per day along with at least one picture per entry taken by me. So I guess its hitting 2 birds with one stone.
